Motivational speaker extraordinaire, Jim Cathcart has captured a lot of ears and minds over his more than 34 years of professional speaking experience. He was inspired by Earl Nightingale to learn psychology and to master the process of self-improvement. From there, he got the fire to study and work his way from being a clerk to being a leader-trainer-author-speaker that he is today.

Jim has a colourful professional career having been listed in the professional Speaker Hall of Fame, recipient of Golden Gavel Award and Cavett Award and many others. He served as the president of the National Speakers Association and was inducted as on the Legends of the Speaking Profession. A chapter of the National Speakers Association even renamed their member of the year award as "The Jim Cathcart Service Award."

Jim's goal is to influence sales and service personnel to be the best that they can be. With this in mind, he was able to deliver more than 2,700 speeches not only in the US but also to certain parts of the globe. He was also able to write 15 books of which some were bestsellers.

Jim Cathcart is definitely having a lustrous career and is continuing to do so. Beneath this shiny exterior though are some charges that say otherwise.
